About This Game:
Ad Fundum is a mining and exploration game about descending deep underground in search of resources, machinery, and valuable discoveries. The experience combines excavation with equipment progression and increasingly dangerous depths.
The main appeal comes from underground mining, resource gathering, and tool upgrades, which keep the smaller structure focused and easy to understand.
How the Gameplay Works
Players dig through rock, gather materials, improve tools, and push deeper into underground areas. Better equipment allows access to tougher layers and more valuable resources.
Progression stays simple, but depth progression, exploration, and increasing hazards give players clear reasons to improve their approach over time. The smaller scale works in its favor because underground mining remains easy to understand, while resource gathering, tool upgrades, and depth progression gradually create more demanding situations. Most of the replay value comes from learning underground mining more carefully and using resource gathering efficiently. tool upgrades and depth progression add enough variation that later attempts still feel more demanding than the opening stages.
