Adorable Adventures is a peaceful third-person exploration game starring Boris, a young wild boar separated from his family after a forest fire. His search takes him through forests, meadows, caves, riverbeds, and rocky highlands inspired by the natural landscapes of southern France. Rather than fighting enemies, Boris relies on curiosity and his developing sense of smell to understand the environment and locate his missing brothers and sisters.
The journey focuses on nature, discovery, and a gentle story about reconnecting with family. New smells can be identified and added to Boris’s growing collection, allowing him to recognize and filter scents more effectively while exploring. Hidden locations and environmental secrets provide additional reasons to wander away from the most obvious path.
How the Gameplay Works
Players freely guide Boris through natural environments by running across fields, exploring vegetation, climbing over rocky terrain, and splashing through shallow water. His nose acts as the main navigation tool, revealing scent trails and helping identify where different smells originate. Previously discovered scents can be filtered so the player can concentrate on the trail needed for a particular objective.
Following scents leads toward family members, discoveries, and new areas of the landscape. Players can root around in undergrowth and investigate anything that appears interesting rather than following a strict combat or survival routine. Progress gradually expands Boris’s library of recognizable smells while revealing more of the park and continuing the story of his separated family.
