About This Game:
Adventures of Chris is a humorous 2D platformer inspired by colorful games of the 1990s. It follows an awkward young hero who is transformed into a balloon-like version of himself and unexpectedly gains strange abilities while traveling around the world to stop a group of villains.
The adventure moves between themed locations with their own enemies, hazards, and bosses. Chris gradually becomes much more capable as new powers expand both his combat options and the places he can reach.
How the Gameplay Works
Chris can jump, attack, inflate himself to float, and eventually use several elemental powers. Levels combine traditional platforming with combat and exploration, with upgrades allowing players to survive hazards or access previously unreachable routes.
Many stages can be approached in a flexible order, and defeating bosses rewards Chris with abilities that influence later challenges. Secret areas, collectibles, and optional upgrades give players reasons to revisit earlier locations after gaining new powers.
