About This Game:
Aragami is a third-person stealth action game set in a dark fantasy world where players control a supernatural assassin brought back through mysterious shadow magic. Called upon by a young woman named Yamiko, Aragami begins a journey through fortified temples, villages, forests, and enemy strongholds while uncovering the truth behind his resurrection and the forces that control the land.

Instead of encouraging direct combat, the game is built around remaining unseen and using darkness as a weapon. Light weakens Aragami, while shadows allow him to move safely, create supernatural abilities, and eliminate enemies without raising alarms. The campaign can be approached patiently by studying patrols or more aggressively by chaining together shadow-based techniques.

How the Gameplay Works
Players move through guarded areas while watching enemy routes, staying away from bright locations, and using shadows to approach objectives. Aragami can instantly teleport between nearby patches of darkness, allowing him to cross open spaces, climb to higher positions, or appear behind guards. Enemies can be eliminated silently or avoided completely depending on the chosen route.

Shadow Essence powers special abilities such as creating temporary darkness, distracting guards, hiding bodies, or attacking enemies from unusual positions. Scrolls found throughout levels unlock new skills and upgrades. Missions reward careful observation, and many areas provide multiple paths, making it possible to complete objectives with minimal kills or take a more lethal approach.
