Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is a fast 2D action-platformer featuring two playable characters with very different combat systems: Gunvolt, who uses electrical abilities, and Copen, who attacks with lock-on shots and aerial mobility.
The dual campaign structure gives players two perspectives on the same conflict, with different stages, story scenes, and approaches to movement and scoring.
How the Gameplay Works
Gunvolt tags enemies with darts and then channels electricity to damage all marked targets, while Copen dashes into enemies to lock on and fire homing attacks. Both characters can chain kills for higher scores.
Bosses use complex projectile patterns and character-specific counters. Upgrades, skills, and equipment improve performance between stages, while score rankings encourage replaying levels for cleaner and faster runs.
