About This Game:
Beach Head 2000 is a first-person arcade-style shooter that places players in control of a lone gunner defending a fortified position against repeated waves of enemy forces. Instead of moving freely across a battlefield, the player remains at a defensive emplacement and must survive attacks coming from land and air. Enemy soldiers, armored vehicles, helicopters, and other military units continuously advance toward the position, creating a simple but increasingly intense survival-focused combat experience.

The game is built around quick aiming, target prioritization, and managing limited ammunition while dealing with increasingly dangerous enemy waves. Several mounted weapons are available for different threats, allowing players to switch between rapid-fire guns, heavier artillery, and anti-air weapons. Health and ammunition supplies can also appear during battles, giving players a chance to recover before the defensive position is overwhelmed.

How the Gameplay Works
Players view the battlefield from a fixed first-person position and use the mouse to aim at approaching enemies. The main machine gun is effective against infantry and lighter targets, while heavier weapons can be used against armored vehicles and other tougher threats. Guided surface-to-air missiles provide a way to destroy helicopters and other aerial targets before they can inflict too much damage on the player’s position.

Each mission sends waves of enemies toward the defensive emplacement, and the objective is to eliminate every attacking unit while staying alive. Ammunition and health are limited, but supply packages can occasionally descend by parachute and can be shot to collect their contents. As missions continue, players must constantly switch between targets, conserve stronger weapons for dangerous enemies, and react quickly when several types of attackers appear at the same time.
