About This Game:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus is a 3D action beat-’em-up based on the 2003 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. The adventure follows Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello through events inspired largely by the show’s second season, taking them from New York to distant planets and other unusual locations. Their journey brings them into conflict with the Foot Clan, Shredder, the Triceratons, and several other enemies while introducing allies and characters familiar from the series.

The game expands on its predecessor with larger stages, team-based character selection, and support for up to four players. Each Turtle belongs to a different team with abilities that can be required for certain obstacles and areas, encouraging players to switch characters when exploring stages. Alongside the main story, players can collect hidden items, enter Battle Nexus tournaments, unlock additional characters, and discover bonus content.

How the Gameplay Works
Players move through 3D stages while fighting groups of enemies using light and strong attacks, jumping techniques, charged moves, and throwable shuriken. Each Turtle has useful abilities outside regular combat: Leonardo can cut through certain barriers, Raphael can move heavy objects, Michelangelo can use his nunchucks to cross some gaps, and Donatello can operate computer terminals. These differences make exploration and character selection an important part of completing some areas.

Stages feature different objectives, including reaching a destination, defeating all enemies, surviving for a set amount of time, completing specific tasks, or defeating a boss. Hidden artifacts and crystal pieces encourage additional exploration, with crystals improving areas such as attack strength, defense, charge attacks, and shuriken abilities. Multiplayer allows several players to fight together while sharing a common health bar, and tournament challenges provide additional battles outside the main story progression.
