About This Game:
Beach Invasion 1944 is an arcade-style World War II defense shooter that places the player inside fortified positions during a massive amphibious assault. Enemy soldiers, landing craft, aircraft, and armored vehicles approach the beach while the player attempts to hold the defensive line.
Rather than moving freely across a large battlefield, the game centers on operating weapons from prepared defensive positions. The increasing scale of each assault creates a straightforward survival challenge built around target prioritization.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use machine guns, artillery, anti-aircraft weapons, and other defenses to destroy incoming forces before they overwhelm the position. Ammunition, overheating, enemy type, and distance affect which weapon is most useful at a given moment.
Successive waves introduce heavier threats and larger numbers of attackers. Players must quickly switch attention between infantry on the beach, vehicles approaching inland, aircraft overhead, and other high-priority targets.
