About This Game:
Becastled is a real-time strategy and settlement-building game about constructing a human kingdom while defending it from nightly attacks. Days provide time to gather resources, expand walls, train soldiers, and strengthen the economy before hostile forces arrive after sunset.
The map is divided into territories that can be captured to secure resources and create more building space. As the settlement grows, its defensive perimeter becomes harder to protect, creating a trade-off between economic expansion and military security.
How the Gameplay Works
During the day, players assign workers, build farms and production structures, expand into neighboring sectors, construct walls and towers, and recruit troops. Resource production supports both civilian growth and the increasingly expensive defensive network.
At night, enemy waves attack the settlement and players command troops in real time while fortifications absorb the assault. Surviving allows another period of rebuilding and expansion before the next, usually stronger, attack.
