Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator puts players in charge of an alchemy shop where customers arrive with problems that can often be solved by the right potion. Instead of selecting recipes from a simple menu, players physically manipulate ingredients and tools while experimenting with an illustrated alchemy map.
The business side involves buying ingredients, negotiating prices, building a reputation, and deciding which customers deserve assistance. Different requests can sometimes be handled with several potion effects, giving players freedom to develop their own recipes and approach to running the shop.
How the Gameplay Works
Ingredients create paths across the alchemy map when placed in the cauldron. Grinding herbs changes how far their paths travel, while stirring moves the potion along the route until it reaches a desired effect such as healing, strength, fire, frost, or another property.
Players can save successful recipes for later production, negotiate with merchants and customers, improve their alchemy equipment, and eventually create more advanced substances. Reputation changes depending on which requests are accepted and how the business is handled.
