About This Game:
BONELAB is a physics-driven virtual-reality action sandbox set in the same experimental universe as BONEWORKS. Players explore a strange underground facility while using realistic body physics, weapons, climbing, vehicles, and avatar swapping to solve problems and fight enemies.
The game is built around physical interaction. Objects have weight, weapons collide with the environment, and the player’s virtual body can push, climb, grab, and manipulate objects in ways that create unscripted solutions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players shoot firearms, use melee weapons, climb structures, move heavy objects, drive vehicles, and complete environmental challenges. Different avatars change body size, strength, speed, and movement capabilities.
The campaign introduces the systems before opening into sandbox and experimental modes where players can create or explore custom situations. Mod support expands the available avatars, maps, and content, making BONELAB as much a VR physics playground as a linear action game. Most of the depth comes from understanding how physics-driven vr interaction, firearms and melee combat, and climbing and object manipulation fit together during normal play. Each one can solve a different problem, and avatar swapping with different bodies becomes another factor that changes priorities later on. Players who adapt those systems to the current situation are usually more successful than those who follow one rigid plan.
