Stranded Deep is an open-world survival game about a plane crash survivor left alone among remote islands in the Pacific Ocean. With no immediate rescue available, players must gather whatever resources they can find and learn how to survive against hunger, thirst, exposure, wildlife, and the dangers of exploring deep water.
The world consists of islands separated by large stretches of ocean, encouraging players to build rafts and travel beyond their initial landing point. Shipwrecks, underwater locations, wildlife, and scarce resources create reasons to keep exploring despite the risks.
How the Gameplay Works
Players collect sticks, rocks, plants, and other materials to craft tools, shelters, weapons, water systems, storage, and survival equipment. Food can be obtained through fishing, hunting, and gathering, while clean water must be produced regularly.
Rafts can be constructed and expanded for ocean travel, allowing additional islands and wrecks to be reached. Sharks and other dangerous animals make exploration risky, while injuries, poisoning, dehydration, and hunger can become serious problems if supplies are not managed properly.
