About This Game:
Borderlands 1 is a first-person shooter and action RPG set on Pandora, a harsh frontier planet filled with bandits, dangerous wildlife, abandoned technology, and rumors of a legendary Vault. Four playable Vault Hunters travel across the planet completing jobs and searching for clues that may lead to the mysterious treasure.

The game combines shooting with randomized loot. Weapons can differ in damage, accuracy, elemental effects, fire rate, magazine size, manufacturer traits, and special properties, making equipment hunting a major part of progression.

How the Gameplay Works
Players choose a character class and complete quests while earning experience, skill points, weapons, shields, grenade modifications, and class equipment. Combat uses conventional first-person shooting alongside character-specific action skills and elemental damage types.

Pandora is divided into large connected areas that can be explored on foot or with vehicles. Cooperative multiplayer allows several players to complete quests and fight together, with tougher encounters and loot making team play especially useful.
