About This Game:
Riptide GP2 is a futuristic water-racing game where riders compete on powerful hydro jets through artificial waterways, flooded cities, industrial channels, and other high-speed courses. Dynamic water surfaces make tracks less predictable than ordinary roads, with waves and wakes affecting how each machine moves.
Racing is combined with an aerial stunt system that rewards players for using ramps aggressively. Successful tricks charge boost energy, creating a constant choice between taking a safer racing line or attempting a risky stunt for additional speed.
How the Gameplay Works
Players steer hydro jets across water courses while using ramps to perform flips, spins, and other tricks. Landing successfully fills the boost meter, which can then provide bursts of speed for overtaking or recovering lost time.
Career events reward money and experience that can be used to improve the rider and upgrade different parts of the hydro jet. New machines, skills, and competitions become available as the player moves through increasingly difficult championships.
