Bus Driver Simulator 2018 is the original Early Access version of KishMish Games’ passenger bus simulation that was later developed and renamed Bus Driver Simulator 2019. The game puts players behind the wheel of a city bus and focuses on following assigned routes, stopping correctly, transporting passengers, and remaining close to a timetable.
Its city environment was designed around recognizable real-world locations rather than a completely fictional map. Traffic and passenger numbers change depending on the time of day, making crowded morning services noticeably different from quieter periods later in the schedule.
How the Gameplay Works
Players drive between designated bus stops and are expected to arrive according to the route schedule. Passengers enter and leave at stops while surrounding traffic creates changing road conditions. Busy periods can slow the route and force players to balance careful driving against timetable requirements.
Different scenarios introduce varying conditions and objectives. Players must operate the bus safely, follow roads, manage stops, and avoid unnecessary collisions while transporting passengers. Steering wheel and pedal support allows the driving experience to be controlled with simulation hardware as well as standard controls.
