About This Game:
Carrier Deck is a fast-paced management simulation that puts players in charge of flight operations aboard the USS Ronald Reagan, a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier operating during active conflict. Every aircraft moving across the deck requires attention, from preparing fighters and helicopters to safely coordinating launches and landings.
The limited space of an aircraft carrier makes poor organization dangerous. Aircraft need fuel, weapons, maintenance, and clear routes across the deck, while missions must be prepared quickly enough to respond to threats appearing around the carrier group.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move aircraft between deck positions, prepare them for specific assignments, and send them on missions involving interception, reconnaissance, strikes, support, cargo, and other operations. Returning aircraft must be landed safely and moved away before they interfere with additional flight activity.
Managing the hangar, repairs, fueling, and weapons becomes increasingly complicated as several missions demand attention at the same time. Poor positioning can cause accidents, while efficient deck organization allows more aircraft to be launched and recovered safely.
