Chessformer is a puzzle-platform game that uses chess-piece movement rules in place of normal character movement. Each level places one or more pieces inside a platforming-style environment where the goal is to reach a target or solve a spatial challenge.
The game turns familiar chess movement into a logic system. A rook moves in straight lines, a bishop moves diagonally, and other pieces require players to think about level geometry in different ways.
