About This Game:
Chionophile is a very short first-person walking simulator designed around the quiet atmosphere of winter in the woods. It contains no combat, puzzles, or resource systems and instead focuses on scenery, music, poetry, and the experience of slowly moving through snow-covered wilderness.

The game is divided into two chapters. The first follows a more guided path, while the second opens into a wider area where players can leave the trail and explore more freely.

How the Gameplay Works
Players simply walk through forests, snowy clearings, streams, and paths while listening to an original musical score and a poem by Archibald Lampman. There are no enemies or objectives beyond reaching the end of each chapter.

The experience is intentionally brief and mood-driven. Save progression occurs between chapters, but the main appeal is not completion or challenge; it is spending a quiet period inside a carefully composed winter landscape away from civilization.
