About This Game:
Crysis Wars is the multiplayer component released alongside Crysis Warhead. Instead of providing another story campaign, it takes the weapons, Nanosuit abilities, vehicles, and environments of Crysis and builds competitive matches around them across a large collection of multiplayer maps.
The game expands the multiplayer formula of the original Crysis with additional balancing, improved vehicle handling, new maps, and another team-based combat mode. Nanosuit abilities remain central to the experience, allowing players to change their approach during a firefight rather than relying only on conventional weapons.
How the Gameplay Works
Instant Action provides traditional free-for-all combat, while Team Instant Action divides players into opposing groups. Power Struggle creates larger objective-based battles where teams capture important positions, earn resources, obtain stronger equipment, and eventually gain access to more destructive technology.
Players can use Nanosuit armor, speed, strength, and cloaking abilities during matches. Vehicles become important on larger maps, while different weapons and equipment allow players to switch between infantry combat, long-range attacks, stealth, and vehicle-based roles.
