About This Game:
Dead to Rights is a third-person crime action game following police officer Jack Slate as he investigates the murder of his father in the violent city of Grant City. The case leads Jack through corrupt institutions, organized crime networks, prisons, nightclubs, industrial areas, and other dangerous parts of the city.
Jack is accompanied by his police dog Shadow, who can attack armed enemies and assist during selected situations. Gunfights are mixed with hand-to-hand combat, disarming moves, slow-motion dives, and action sequences influenced by stylish crime movies.
How the Gameplay Works
Jack can use pistols, shotguns, automatic weapons, and other firearms while locking onto enemies and diving through the air in slow motion. When ammunition is limited, opponents can be disarmed at close range and their weapons immediately turned against them.
Melee encounters use punches, kicks, grapples, and finishing attacks, while Shadow can be ordered to eliminate certain enemies or retrieve useful weapons. The campaign also introduces occasional minigames and specialized action sequences that break up the regular shooting and fighting.
