About This Game:
Deadlink is a fast first-person roguelite shooter set in a cyberpunk world where a covert organization sends combat shells into corporate facilities. Each run pushes the player through procedurally arranged combat rooms filled with armed enemies, drones, hazards, and upgrade opportunities.
The game rewards constant movement and aggressive ability use. Different combat shells function like classes, each with its own weapon style, mobility tools, and abilities that can be combined with temporary run upgrades.
How the Gameplay Works
Players dash, jump, shoot, use active abilities, mark enemies, and move rapidly between targets while avoiding incoming fire. Kills and ability combinations can trigger health, shield, or resource effects that encourage staying in the fight instead of hiding.
Between encounters, upgrades modify weapons, abilities, elemental effects, and passive bonuses. Permanent progression unlocks more options for future runs, while bosses test whether a build has enough damage and survivability to continue.
