Death in the Water 2 is an underwater survival shooter that turns open-ocean diving into a battle against increasingly aggressive sea life. Players explore reefs, wrecks, caves, and deep water while a mysterious creature known as Death influences the animals around them.
Real marine species share the environment with more dangerous threats, creating periods of quiet exploration before sudden attacks. Weapons and equipment become increasingly important as the dives grow more hostile.
How the Gameplay Works
Players swim freely through underwater locations while searching for treasure, ammunition, weapons, and other resources. Harpoons, firearms designed for underwater use, and defensive equipment help fight sharks and other aggressive creatures.
Each dive grows more dangerous as hostile animals become more numerous and powerful. Players must monitor their surroundings in every direction because threats can approach from above, below, or behind.
