About This Game:
Epiphany City is a narrative puzzle adventure about a young woman named Lily who believes she has failed to become the hero she was meant to be. Her life changes when she gains the ability to manipulate magical picture frames and alter the objects contained inside them.
The story combines personal themes with a colorful fantasy adventure, gradually transforming ordinary places into increasingly imaginative environments. Puzzle solving is closely tied to the game’s unusual visual manipulation mechanic.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move picture frames around the environment, changing their position, scale, or relationship to nearby objects. Correctly aligning images can cause objects to appear, disappear, grow, shrink, or become usable in the physical world.
Later puzzles build more complicated situations from the same core idea and require players to think about perspective rather than traditional inventory combinations. Story scenes connect each puzzle area as Lily’s journey develops.
