Delta Force: Xtreme 2 continues the series’ combination of military first-person shooting and large outdoor battlefields. Players become part of an elite special operations unit and take on missions involving hostile forces, fortified positions, military vehicles, and objectives spread across wide combat areas.
The campaign provides different environments and combat situations while retaining the long-range shooting that distinguishes Delta Force from many corridor-focused shooters. Vehicles and larger maps give players more freedom to move between objectives and engage enemies from different positions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players carry military weapons including assault rifles, sniper rifles, machine guns, pistols, and explosives. Large environments allow distant enemies to be spotted and eliminated before advancing, while buildings and tighter areas create more direct firefights where faster weapons become useful.
Vehicles can be used during certain missions to travel quickly or provide heavier firepower against enemy forces. Objectives guide the player toward important targets and locations, while online modes allow larger groups of players to compete using the same weapons and open-map combat style.
