LUNA The Shadow Dust is a hand-animated point-and-click puzzle adventure following a young boy and an unusual companion as they climb a mysterious tower. The story is told without spoken dialogue, relying on animation, environmental details, and visual symbolism to explain their journey.
Every room in the tower functions as a self-contained puzzle with its own visual idea. The relationship between the two protagonists becomes increasingly important because each can interact with parts of the environment that the other cannot.
How the Gameplay Works
Players click around scenes to move characters, activate objects, examine mechanisms, and test relationships between environmental elements. Progress depends on observation rather than collecting a large inventory of unrelated items.
Many puzzles require switching between the boy and his companion so both can contribute to the solution. Light, shadows, symbols, machinery, and visual sequences are used repeatedly as puzzle concepts while the pair climbs toward the top of the tower.
