About This Game:
Dice Kingdoms is a turn-based strategy game where rival kingdoms grow on separate islands and use dice to determine the resources available each round. Players develop cities, increase their supply of dice, construct important buildings, and work toward victory through military strength, cultural or religious development, or ambitious construction projects.
Random rolls mean resources are never completely predictable, but players are given ways to influence the results. Expanding too aggressively can also create vulnerabilities, making each kingdom a balance between economic efficiency, defense, and long-term victory planning.
How the Gameplay Works
At the beginning of turns, dice provide resources that can be spent on buildings, improvements, armies, and other actions. Specialized housing can increase the number of dice available, while rerolling gives another chance at useful results but introduces the risk of triggering disasters.
Cities must be arranged carefully because space is limited and enemy attacks can target valuable structures. Military battles resolve after players select targets, while successful raids can provide additional resources. Different victory conditions allow kingdoms to pursue conquest or concentrate on nonmilitary development instead.
