About This Game:
Dishonored: Definitive Edition is a first-person action game built around assassination, infiltration, supernatural powers, and player choice. Corvo Attano is framed for the murder of the Empress and becomes a masked assassin while searching for the people responsible. The Definitive Edition combines the original campaign with its major downloadable story and challenge content.

Dunwall is designed as a collection of open-ended spaces rather than a sequence of single solutions. Missions can be completed through stealth, direct combat, environmental tricks, or combinations of all three. Decisions about who lives, how much chaos is created, and which routes are taken can affect later missions and the tone of the ending.

How the Gameplay Works
Each mission places Corvo in a large area with a main objective and several optional paths. Players can sneak across rooftops, possess animals, teleport short distances with Blink, disable security systems, or fight guards using blades, firearms, traps, and supernatural abilities. Runes are used to unlock and improve powers while bone charms provide passive bonuses.

Targets can often be eliminated without killing them, giving players non-lethal alternatives that require exploration and observation. The included Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches campaigns shift the focus to Daud and add their own missions, powers, equipment, and story perspective. Dunwall City Trials provides separate score-based challenges.
