About This Game:
Fantasy General is a turn-based strategy game that adapts the structure of classic Panzer General-style warfare to a fantasy world. Players lead armies of infantry, cavalry, monsters, flying creatures, spellcasters, and siege forces through a campaign against the Shadowlord and his armies.

Units survive between scenarios, making experienced forces increasingly valuable as the campaign progresses.

How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place on hex-based maps where terrain, movement range, unit type, and positioning influence combat. Players capture objectives, protect important forces, and attempt to complete missions efficiently before turn limits become a problem.

Surviving units gain experience and can be improved or replaced between battles. Army composition becomes increasingly important as new magical, monstrous, aerial, and conventional forces appear throughout the campaign.
