About This Game:
Sheltered 2 is a post-apocalyptic survival management game where players lead a small group attempting to survive inside an underground shelter after civilization has collapsed. Food, water, fuel, medicine, equipment, and living space are all limited, making every decision important as the group tries to establish a stable community.
The sequel expands the original shelter concept with factions, character traits, relationships, a larger world map, and more detailed base management. Survivors can be sent outside to collect supplies, meet other groups, trade, fight, and search abandoned locations for materials needed back at the shelter.
How the Gameplay Works
Players assign survivors to jobs such as crafting, repairing equipment, cooking, maintaining power, gathering water, and improving shelter rooms. Each character has needs and personal characteristics that influence performance. Resources must be carefully rationed because shortages can quickly weaken the entire group.
Expeditions allow teams to travel across the world map and interact with settlements, factions, traders, and hostile survivors. Turn-based combat may occur when negotiations fail. Relationships with factions can create new opportunities or additional enemies, while losing the faction leader can have serious consequences for the survival of the group.
