About This Game:
Far Cry 4 is an open-world first-person shooter set in Kyrat, a fictional Himalayan country ruled by Pagan Min. Ajay Ghale returns to scatter his mother’s ashes and is pulled into a civil war between the Royal Army and the rebel Golden Path.
The mountainous setting mixes villages, forests, cliffs, fortresses, caves, and high-altitude regions. Players can choose how aggressively or quietly to approach outposts and missions, while story decisions influence relationships within the rebellion.
How the Gameplay Works
Ajay uses rifles, bows, explosives, sidearms, melee takedowns, and throwable weapons. Animals can be hunted for crafting materials, and bait can be used to attract predators toward enemies. Vehicles include cars, boats, quad bikes, and the small Buzzer helicopter.
Bell towers reveal surrounding points of interest, outposts can be captured, and larger fortresses provide tougher assaults. Side activities include hunting challenges, hostage rescues, races, arena battles, Shangri-La missions, and cooperative free-roam play.
