About This Game:
Field of Glory II is a turn-based tactical wargame covering the rise of Rome from 280 BC to 25 BC. Players can recreate battles involving Roman armies and many of the neighboring powers that fought across the Mediterranean, Europe, North Africa, and the Near East during this period.
The game adapts tabletop-style historical warfare into a detailed 3D battlefield system. Infantry formations, cavalry, elephants, missile troops, terrain, morale, and unit quality all influence how an engagement develops, placing more emphasis on formation and positioning than rapid unit movement.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles take place in turns on tile-based maps. Players move formations into position, launch charges, fire ranged weapons, protect vulnerable flanks, and attempt to break enemy units without exposing their own army to counterattacks.
Units can become disrupted, fragmented, or routed as fighting continues, so maintaining cohesion is important. Historical battles, campaigns, custom engagements, and hypothetical matchups allow armies that did not necessarily meet historically to fight under different battlefield conditions.

How to Install:
