About This Game:
Five Nights at Freddy’s is a survival horror game where players work the night shift as a security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The seemingly harmless animatronic mascots begin moving around the restaurant after closing time, and surviving until morning requires carefully monitoring their movements from a small security office.
The game creates tension through limited information and limited resources rather than direct combat. Players cannot freely explore the restaurant and instead rely on security cameras, doors, lights, and sound cues to determine where each animatronic is located.
How the Gameplay Works
The security cameras allow players to switch between rooms and hallways to track Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. The office has doors on both sides that can temporarily block approaching animatronics, while hallway lights help confirm whether something is standing nearby.
Every camera check, light activation, and closed door consumes electricity from a limited supply. If power runs out before 6 AM, most defensive systems stop working. Each night becomes more difficult as the animatronics move more aggressively, forcing players to balance observation and power conservation.
