About This Game:
Gah! is an action RPG roguelite where players fight through procedurally generated worlds ranging from haunted dungeons to futuristic space stations. Thirteen playable characters provide different approaches to combat, while loot and temporary improvements shape how each individual run develops.
Failure sends the character back to a growing village hub rather than ending all progression. Permanent improvements obtained there make future attempts more manageable and gradually expand what is available between expeditions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players choose a character and enter randomly generated stages filled with enemies, treasure, and combat encounters. Weapons, abilities, and loot collected during the run can significantly change the current build.
Major bosses block progression into later areas and require stronger understanding of each character’s abilities. When a run ends, resources brought back to the village can unlock permanent upgrades before another character or strategy is taken into a new procedurally generated expedition.
