Heaven Dust 2 expands the survival horror formula of the first game with a larger research facility, more combat options, tougher enemies, and a broader range of puzzles. The protagonist awakens in another dangerous complex affected by the mysterious virus and must escape while uncovering its secrets.
Its visual style remains compact and stylized, but the underlying structure draws heavily from classic survival horror through interconnected areas, scarce supplies, backtracking, keys, puzzles, and boss encounters.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore the facility while collecting weapons, ammunition, healing items, keys, and puzzle components. Firearms can be improved, making exploration and resource investment important before confronting stronger creatures.
Newly obtained items open previously inaccessible routes, encouraging repeated travel through the interconnected map. Combat includes regular infected enemies as well as more dangerous monsters and major boss fights.
