Heroes of Might and Magic 5: Tribes of the East is a standalone expansion to the turn-based fantasy strategy game, adding the Orc faction and continuing the campaign after the events of the earlier Heroes V chapters. It expands both strategic and tactical options with new units, upgrades, artifacts, and scenarios.
The Orcs rely on aggression and Blood Rage rather than traditional spellcasting, giving them a very different battlefield identity from other factions.
How the Gameplay Works
On the adventure map, heroes explore, capture mines, recruit creatures, gather resources, complete quests, and develop towns. Battles take place on a tactical grid where creature stacks move, attack, retaliate, and use special abilities.
Heroes gain skills, artifacts, and faction abilities while towns unlock stronger creature tiers and economic structures. Alternative creature upgrades add more choice when building armies.
