About This Game:
Volcanoids is a first-person survival game set on a steampunk island repeatedly devastated by volcanic eruptions. Players operate a large mechanical drillship that functions as both a mobile base and an underground shelter while fighting robotic COG forces responsible for the island’s machinery.

The recurring eruptions force players to think differently about permanent construction. Instead of leaving everything on the surface, the drillship can retreat underground, travel beneath the island, and emerge at another location when conditions become safe.

How the Gameplay Works
Players gather ore and components, build production modules, craft weapons, and expand the drillship with additional storage, defenses, refining equipment, and manufacturing systems. Surface expeditions provide resources and opportunities to raid enemy facilities.

COG robots defend valuable technology and operate their own drillships, which can be attacked for resources and upgrades. The game supports cooperative multiplayer, allowing a group to operate and expand the same mobile base.
