About This Game:
Vernal Edge is a fast action-platformer set across floating islands in the kingdom of Haricot. Players control Vernal, a determined young woman searching for her estranged father while exploring ruins, settlements, laboratories, and other locations scattered across the sky.

The game combines Metroidvania exploration with an unusually combo-focused combat system. Vernal can launch enemies, continue attacks in the air, use magical abilities, and combine different moves to maintain offensive pressure.

How the Gameplay Works
Players travel between floating islands by airship and explore each area on foot. New movement abilities gradually allow Vernal to reach previously inaccessible rooms, hidden items, and additional routes.

Combat rewards aggressive combinations involving ground attacks, aerial moves, spells, parries, and enemy launches. Bosses require players to learn attack patterns while using the mobility and combat techniques collected throughout the adventure.
