About This Game:
Vertigo 2 is a virtual reality first-person adventure set inside the enormous Quantum Reactor VII facility. After becoming trapped deep underground, the player must travel through laboratories, alien ecosystems, industrial zones, and increasingly bizarre locations while trying to find a route back to the surface.
The campaign combines shooting, exploration, humor, unusual characters, and large set-piece encounters. Alien creatures and security forces provide different threats as the journey reveals more about the reactor and the strange worlds connected to it.
How the Gameplay Works
Players physically handle a collection of VR weapons, including firearms with interactive reloading and more unusual science-fiction equipment. Combat involves aiming, taking cover, moving through arenas, and targeting enemies with very different attack patterns.
Levels contain environmental interactions, exploration, occasional puzzles, NPC encounters, and boss battles. Branching choices and optional discoveries provide additional reasons to investigate areas rather than simply following the most direct path.
