About This Game:
House of the Dying Sun is a tactical space combat game where players lead the remnants of an imperial fleet on a campaign of revenge. Following the collapse of the empire, the surviving forces hunt down those considered responsible while the player personally pilots a strike craft during each engagement.

The game combines direct spacecraft combat with command over allied ships. Missions are short and focused, encouraging quick decisions about targets, fleet positioning, and when to withdraw before enemy reinforcements become overwhelming.

How the Gameplay Works
Players pilot a fighter from the cockpit, using guns and missiles to attack enemy spacecraft and larger vessels. At any time, the tactical view can be used to issue orders to allied units and coordinate attacks against priority targets.

Mission rewards unlock new weapons, ship upgrades, and fleet options. Many operations allow the player to complete the primary objective and escape immediately, while staying longer for optional targets increases both potential rewards and the risk of being overwhelmed.
