About This Game:
Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story is an action RPG spin-off in which a wandering swordsman agrees to help a blacksmith repay a large debt and rescue his daughter. By day, the player manages weapons and business around the forge; by night, mysterious portals lead into dangerous dungeons filled with enemies and valuable materials.
Different swords provide their own combat styles, and maintaining a collection of blades becomes central to both survival and earning money. Decisions about rival factions can also influence events around the village.
How the Gameplay Works
Dungeon expeditions use real-time sword combat against groups of enemies and bosses. Weapons lose durability through use, so players must decide which blades to carry and when to switch between them.
Loot gathered underground can be sold or used to strengthen equipment. During daytime, the player helps operate the blacksmith business, fulfills orders, and navigates relationships between competing factions, while repeated dungeon trips generate the money needed to reduce the family’s debt.
