LIVE A LIVE is a turn-based RPG that tells several separate stories across different eras, including prehistory, imperial China, the Wild West, present day, the near future, and distant science fiction. Each chapter has its own protagonist, tone, and gameplay twist.
The HD-2D remake preserves the unusual anthology structure while updating visuals, music, and presentation. Stories eventually connect in ways that give the separate adventures a larger purpose.
