Luck be a Landlord is a roguelike deck-building game built around a slot machine instead of traditional cards. The player must repeatedly earn enough money to pay increasing rent while adding symbols to the machine and creating combinations that produce larger payouts.
Symbols interact in numerous ways, allowing animals, food, people, objects, gems, and other icons to form powerful economic engines. Random selection means each run develops differently, but successful play depends on deliberately creating useful synergies rather than relying purely on luck.
How the Gameplay Works
Each spin places symbols into the slot machine and awards coins according to their individual values and interactions. After selected spins, players choose additional symbols to add and occasionally receive items that permanently modify particular mechanics.
