About This Game:
Lumencraft combines top-down shooting, base building, mining, and tower defense inside a dark underground world where humanity is struggling to survive. After centuries without reliable electricity, a powerful energy crystal known as Lumen becomes a possible solution, sending explorers deep underground in search of valuable deposits.
The underground environments are fully destructible, allowing players to create their own tunnels rather than following only predetermined corridors. Digging for resources also opens new routes for hostile creatures, making every expansion a potential risk to the player’s base.
How the Gameplay Works
Players directly control a miner from an overhead perspective while drilling through terrain, gathering resources, constructing defenses, and shooting creatures. Walls can be destroyed almost anywhere, allowing custom routes and defensive layouts to be created.
Bases can be protected with walls, weapons, and automated turrets as enemy swarms approach through the underground tunnels. The game includes campaign missions alongside procedurally generated scenarios, and additional tools allow custom levels to be created or downloaded.
