About This Game:
Masks of the Void: Origins is a fast action roguelite where telekinesis turns almost everything in the surrounding environment into a potential weapon. Players enter the Void and use mysterious masks to develop increasingly destructive abilities while attempting to prevent a force capable of consuming their home.
Environmental interaction is central to its combat. Objects can be pulled, repositioned, and thrown into enemies, while the destruction caused during battle changes what remains available for later attacks and combinations.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through isometric combat areas while attacking enemies directly and manipulating nearby objects using telekinetic powers. Heavy objects can become projectiles, while positioning enemies near useful pieces of the environment can create particularly strong combinations.
Roguelite upgrades and masks modify abilities during each run, allowing different builds to form. Because environmental destruction has consequences, repeatedly throwing everything immediately can leave fewer tools available later, creating an additional layer of decision making during chaotic encounters.
