About This Game:
NecroVision is a horror first-person shooter that begins on the battlefields of World War I before descending into a much stranger supernatural conflict. Players control American soldier Simon Bukner, whose experience in the trenches leads him away from ordinary warfare and into a hidden world populated by zombies, demons, vampires, and dark magical forces.
The game deliberately combines historical weapons and military environments with fantasy horror. Trenches and ruined bunkers eventually give way to underground structures and supernatural locations, while the enemies become increasingly removed from the human soldiers encountered early in the campaign.
How the Gameplay Works
Players use rifles, pistols, shotguns, machine guns, explosives, and supernatural weapons while moving through linear first-person levels. A close-combat system allows kicks and melee attacks to be combined with firearms, rewarding aggressive fighting rather than keeping every enemy at long range.
As Simon becomes more involved with the supernatural conflict, new powers and unusual equipment expand his combat options. Large enemy groups, powerful monsters, mechanical threats, and boss encounters create increasingly chaotic battles as the story moves farther away from the conventional World War I setting.
