About This Game:
NecroVision: Lost Company is a standalone prequel to NecroVision that returns to its alternate World War I setting before the events of the original campaign. The story follows a new protagonist and presents parts of the conflict from the opposite side while gradually revealing more about the supernatural forces operating beneath the conventional war.
Trenches, bunkers, ruined battlefields, underground locations, demons, zombies, and other monsters once again mix historical warfare with dark fantasy. The prequel introduces new levels, characters, weapons, enemies, and gameplay elements while also revisiting some events connected to the first game.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight through the campaign from a first-person perspective using World War I firearms alongside more unusual supernatural and experimental weapons. Large groups of human and undead enemies encourage aggressive combat and frequent switching between guns, explosives, and close-range attacks.
The game expands the original combat system with additional weapons and abilities while retaining its mixture of conventional warfare and occult action. Enemy vehicles and heavier threats also appear during the campaign, giving some encounters a larger scale than ordinary infantry battles.
