About This Game:
Not Tonight is a management and document-checking game set in an alternate post-Brexit Britain. The player, stripped of normal citizenship rights, is forced into temporary work as a bouncer while trying to earn enough money and avoid being deported.
The game combines dark political satire with increasingly complicated door policies. Different venues introduce identification checks, guest lists, age restrictions, tickets, dress rules, and other requirements that must be applied accurately under time pressure.
How the Gameplay Works
Customers approach the entrance one at a time and present identification or other documents. Players inspect dates, photos, names, expiration details, guest-list information, and venue-specific rules before deciding whether each person should be admitted.
Correct decisions earn wages and improve job opportunities, while mistakes can result in penalties. Between shifts, money and story choices affect the character’s circumstances and eventually influence how the wider narrative develops.
