OCTOPATH TRAVELER II is a turn-based RPG following eight travelers with separate stories across the world of Solistia. Each protagonist has unique goals, skills, and Path Actions that influence how they interact with towns and NPCs.
The game expands the HD-2D style with a day-and-night cycle and more interactions between party members.
How the Gameplay Works
Battles use the Break and Boost systems: hitting weaknesses removes shield points, while saved Boost Points strengthen attacks and abilities. Jobs and secondary jobs allow flexible character builds.
Exploration includes towns, dungeons, ships, side stories, optional bosses, and character-specific chapters.
