About This Game:
Omerta: City of Gangsters is a crime strategy game set in Atlantic City during the Prohibition era. Players control a newly arrived immigrant who begins with minor jobs and gradually builds an organization capable of operating illegal businesses, recruiting gangsters, and taking territory from rivals.
The game combines economic management on the city map with separate turn-based tactical battles. Growing from a small criminal operation into a major syndicate requires money, contacts, businesses, capable gang members, and enough influence to survive competition.
How the Gameplay Works
Players establish legal and illegal operations, collect income, gather information, and expand influence across Atlantic City. New gang members can be recruited and assigned according to their individual combat abilities and useful characteristics.
When situations turn violent, gameplay changes to turn-based tactical encounters where gangsters move into position and use firearms or abilities against rivals. Campaign progression gradually expands the organization until the player’s character becomes one of the city’s dominant criminal figures.
