About This Game:
Othercide is a dark turn-based tactical game where an army of warriors known as Daughters fights against creatures connected to an entity called Suffering. The game’s stark visual presentation combines mostly monochrome environments with red highlights while its story unfolds across repeated battles against increasingly disturbing enemies.

The Daughters are not disposable soldiers without identity. Their combat performance can influence their traits and development, while keeping experienced fighters alive becomes increasingly important as stronger enemies and major bosses begin appearing.

How the Gameplay Works
Combat uses a Dynamic Timeline system that shows when every ally and enemy is expected to act. Players choose attacks, movement, reactions, and defensive abilities while considering how each action changes a Daughter’s next position on the timeline.

Daughters belong to different combat classes and gain abilities as they improve. Healing comes with an unusual cost because restoring a badly injured Daughter can require sacrificing another one. When a run collapses, progression systems allow later attempts to begin with advantages earned through previous battles.
